Batavierenrace and BataBBQ 

Weeks ago the Bata took place, as an association H.V. Ockham organized a BBQ at which different Honours student associations participated. It was tons of fun meeting new people from different universities in the Netherlands, while sharing a drink and enjoying a sunny afternoon. As part of our beloved association to be sustainable, the BBQ was completely vegetarian which in my personal opinion (I am not a vegetarian) was good [better than I expected]. I am happy I had the opportunity to try a vegetarian BBQ with my fellow students. 

It was not only the food, but also the drinks that made the event really fun; from 0.0 beer to radler and sodas to a normal beer, everything made up perfectly to have a good time. From PubliCie we hope to see you all in coming events =].

Movie Night

Hope is the optimistic belief that things can improve or turn out positively in the future…

Recently, Ockham hosted a movie night where it screened The Shawshank Redemption to a room full of engaged students. The movie sparked intriguing discussions among the diverse group of participants, highlighting how films can bring people together and prompt meaningful discussions on major topics in philosophy. We look forward to seeing you at our next event.

Alumni Drink

One of the most unforgettable alumni events was a drink held last month at Technobar, in the middle of a rainstorm. The evening was filled with laughter and excitement as old honors students reconnected and shared stories about their lives after graduation. The atmosphere was lively and the drinks flowed freely, with everyone enjoying the chance to catch up with old friends and make new ones.
